ethereal eyes i looked for your eyes so brown in colorful concern But the red roots surround the fertile beauty. Have you watered your optical garden lately? Was the stream near the lovely tilled earth? not so soon, my dear; not so long,it is near. Young birds retrodict the beginning of spring, Spring bounds into your eyes as children at play. Have you disillusioned the past? Is that smile forced like water our of a dam? not so soon, my dear; not so long, it is near. Contradict the understood you in my statements and point my flattery to another not present. Do you accept these gifts of gold, frankinsence, and myrrh? Do you love the essence inside my bottled heart? not so soon, my dear; not so long, it is near. Soon the parted paths shall unite under one heading, Together the we melt at meeting the lights in our eyes. Do your eyes still shimmer? Do you still compete with the stars? not so soon, my dear; not so long, it is near. I search among the wells that draw me to drink deep, Your spiritful eyes that never deny my reflection. Come home to this game of anything you want, Come home to me, i will be anything you want. so soon, my dear; so quiet, we are near. |
