Nervous. Worried. Stressed. My body won’t stop shivering, Even as we speak. I know that you’re okay, But I’m still shaken. Don’t you realize You’ve become such a big part of me, That if something happened to you, I’d be a lot less me. When you told me, My ears heard the words, But it didn’t register in my mind. I just couldn’t believe it. Even though I know you’re safe, My mind won’t stop screaming- “You could’ve DIED!” I couldn’t have handled that. I guess I must’ve thought, That nothing could ever happen, To you or me. But neither of us are immortal. My biggest lesson- Live everyday Like it’s your last. a persons last days are always on there heels...how fast can you run? i don't have a felling for this poem i'm not shore if i liked it or not but either way thanks for the read...keep writing when you live you begin to die |
