Goosebumps tingle up my arm, race to see who gets there first. It seems my very soul is frozen, my body an icy husk. My hackles are raised, a growl lurking in my throat, aching and yearning to be released. A snarl is hidden on my lips, impatiently biding its time. That old intensity waits in my breast, churning and frothing at the mouth. And all I can think, over and over, running through my head, is WHY? Thanks. Don't you hate it how there's this poem that someone wrote, and you really love it and can think of nothing to say to it? At this point I don't bother to sensor my replying stupidity. So long as I get the message across and the writer has a sense of humor, it's all well and good. |
