No one knows how this blanket grips me at night how the pillow wraps around my head No ones there when i cry at night holding me so tight i cant breathe No one see's my reflection in the mirror how the scowl on my face grows No one wants to hold my hand squeezing it when i need reassurance No one understands me when i'm cold how the wind seeps right through my skin No one laughs with me in the night while i laugh at my pitiful life No one even cares how this darkness tightens like a noose everyday No one even says anything when they see this hate surround me like hungry wolves They dont even look as i waste away into a corner where i cant be seen. This is good. I used to feel this often. Then I realized that the only way to become cured, was to do it myself. understanding yourself, is so much better than being understood. |

I wholly agree. That corner has to be quite the rowded spot by now. I like the poem, though I can't think of anything no one hasn't said already. |

we all know our own blanket, cries, reflection. it's too bad that it never feels like anyone else knows them. wonderful poem. if there's something you'd like to do, just let me continue to blame you. |
