Silent thoughts of forgotten acquaintances once dormant with neither whispered breath nor sigh to hear rise up to haunt me in demoniacal persevere crushing my essence as the tentacled arm of cephalopod pulling me to the cold black watered canyons far removed from seashore’s esplanade I strain to hear to comprehend their silent thoughts but in the darkness of the void their cacophony drowns out all sound and then I realize it is in the darkness I shall be found. |

Those darn reflections of the past -- need they haunt us always? Interesting idea, when you speak I shall be found in the dark, it makes me think rather that it is in the definition of our past that the definition of our being will be found. For me, I hope that it will be the most recent past which shall be evaluated, and that it will be remembered that I tried. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Powerful ending, powerful beginning, great write. Hollow. "Why are my visions so unliving with dreams? And why do I no longer care?" - Stygian |
