A woken world, of bitter things We strike the heart And burn her wings She smells of sorrow But I cannot touch She breaks our hearts We know this much… What I fear? Not knowing her But we must tremble on Into some wood of fallen ashes Cracks, bruises, sores and lashes |

Wow! I loved this, can't explain, it's just the words and the meaning were great. Can't wait to hear more! Hollow. "Why are my visions so unliving with dreams? And why do I no longer care?" - Stygian |

That was gorgeous. I mean it. That's how I feel about myself at times. People seem to not know me and seem not to know that the sheer mention of my name on their lips rips the very soul of me. Thank you for writing this poem. It's quite reflective. Yv-Goddess of Her Domain. Symbol of Truth Passion Pain. Let Her Smile Rain on the Hearts of the Innocent. |

thank you all for your responses. I suppose to me this poem is about wanting someone you can't have. But you must struggle on. It's named after a very lovely girl, with a beautiful name. Thanks again. |
