I don't know if anyone remembers me, I haven't posted in ages. But here goes. Through my hands Comes something wet All along, it was me I’ll raise my lips And let them bleed A creature, now has come this way He walks in currents Dipping his fingers at his side He licks his wounds But nothing’s there Seeking some distant flesh He rides on butterflies And scrapes their wings He bears a load We dare not see Upon the “said and done” A spreading back, despites these things Opening to accommodate all that has become A cracking mouth, despising me Angels skin and baby wings, reminding him of all that’s been “We are, we are, but wretched things” Seethe the light The sinister have come, to feed the beast… |

Wow. That was quite intriguing. I felt every image and saw every sound. I know that may seem a bit backwards, but the way your words flowed through this poem...I don't know what else to say. Awesome. I've changed and evolved greatly since I last posted. Im constantly seeing things in different lights, and constantly changing my perception of myself. Thank you for the response. |
