Leave the lights outside for hands to palm, Redirect the walks from pits to canyons, Living and skimming the shallow shadows. Skies swim through maps, Switching to an eternal bed, Realizing tastes of wine among distant faces. Masking in its basement, Here lies the secret, Of the eyes too fast to connect to the face. Tedious mornings begin the chapter, Treat the soul to repetition, Yet release empty beyond reason. Restless leaves chime through each window, Casting with shades, To each others pursuit. To live with the apples fruit, Sweetens the paths that are forgotten, As feeling is the wallpaper to each new surrounding. The skies may loom on the horizon, Yet to sketch the wizadry of truth, We must first embark on the illusion. |

You painted a really good picture for me. The last three lines were my favorite - you ended it very nicely. Well done. "I'm just me, trapped in a body." |

Of the eyes too fast to connect to the face. I love this line. I think of this all the time. Good to see your writings around here. |
