Looking at you wondering how you got so old,
how did you hold  this pain cold?

How does it feel to be old?
when i see you its like i see a treassure of gold,.

When i see you its like i seen a flower that is willing on growing more ,is it hard? is it hard to feel old?

you gave me the health ,you gave me the respect and honesty , you gave me the heart of yours that made me stronger ,...

Even though sometimes i just believe you got old and i cant talk to you any more,

but i know you will alwayz be here i hold your hand coming down the stairs you feel so cold..

but why?
is it time for you to go?

i dont want to say bye,
i cant ever feel behind

i feel like my throat is dry ,
and i feel like i need to cry,.

Why did'nt you stay alive?
if only you saw me drive,
if only you saw me  grow and grow ..

Now this is the  first real bye,
but not the last,

   Not only you gave me things ,,

but you gave me the respect,
the honesty,
the love,

but mostly the heart that now is grown and feels the pain and feels the happiness,

what else can i ask for?

    TODAY is your birthday and tomorrow is my funeral....but this is never a last goodbye

     Because your name is up this blue sky!!

I will cover you with my blood,not only because
i love you but because your are the one that turned my blood a color....

this is sad. I felt these things when i lost my grandfather a few years back. we were really close family. nicely done

i lost my great grandma and it hurt alot...very good poem

I've lost my grandma as well... It's a sad poem... But great write!
