This is about leaving my family and friends to start my life over somewhere else. I counted my blessings and put them away come back when I need them some other day You said I could get new friends and have your family as my own but I'm still wondering if I can reap what I've sown I just hold my breath until I can exhale I've waited for this forever but I'm so afraid to fail Your voice on the phone it breaks me into pieces and I'm torn between the lines and the creases I hope that you will understand my dilemma here it's not that I don't love you enough and it's not that I don't care I just need some time to figure things out and to know that I'll be happy there |

I've waited for this forever but I'm so afraid to fail I hope that you will understand my dilemma here it's not that I don't love you enough and it's not that I don't care I just need some time to figure things out and to know that I'll be happy there I feel you, I moved away from home last year. And since then I've wanted so badly to both keep moving away, and run back to safety. This poem, although inspired by insecurity, shows diligence. Great stuff. and i'm certain that if i drive into those trees, it would make less of a mess, than she's made of me... |
