Walking in the sand, all of us are volenteers, anxious and hot, we supress our fears. Ten thousands free, who love us, one hundred enemys, who don't. Leave our wives, and children, our jobs, and quiet lives. We fight for, something greater, than politiccs, or polls. We bleed in the sun, by the roadsides, in the streets, for freedoms sake. we want the people, our fellow man, to know how sweet, it is. We die for, a tyrants sins, and give our smiles, to the masses. Who cover our boots, with kisses, we raise them up, and shake their hands. "Welcome brothers" life is worth dying for, make your voices heard, come join us in the world. Coming home.. no one understands, the media, smears our goals. As our children sleep safe, I wonder? is it worth it? and worry not. I would die, a thousand times, to ensure, a world that's safe. To once again, hold the ones we love, in our arms, in peace. |
