This was a piece that I wrote one fine 6am. And there is music that is suppose to be played lightly in the background as this is a dance monologue type of thing. It is going to be performed on stage one day since it goes with a play that I wrote with a friend of mine. I hope you like it. The blood rolled into the valleys and into the streams Covering everyone and everything It washed over me like a desire for love or sex The pretty in me was pulled and I layed there almost empty Reaching deeper and deeper Dirty I bathed in it Splashed around Drinking it in I felt it slide down my cheeks and over my chest Oozing and spilling It trailed its way over my stomach Keeping in time with the rhythm of the drums Pounding Louder and louder My hands ran it across my new body Being filled Wiggling my toes to see if it was real I cradled myself Kneeling down and backwards I dipped my hair in the warm, red liquid Flinging it forward and watching the bloody arch in the air Letting out a howl as the moon raises The hair slaps against my chest heavily I am MAN I am WOMAN I am WAR I am LOVE I am DEATH I am REBORN I am RENEWED I am ALIVE!!! Love, Ladycat |

good! really good! I found morbid images arising in my mind. Very visual. I find it sort of ironic, that this person is enjoying bathing in the same substance that is flowing inside them. Incompassed completely in the liquid of life. I quite enjoyed this piece. and I could see it being performed. Good luck with that. Your good. ~Lex |
