Big Bang Ok, this is the dawning of the book of bitter aspects Where melancholy notions will never breathe its last breath Poison functions accompanied by twelve feeble minded Black horse disciples now with frigid hands Tucking the portion of my severed vision Faith The gathering of loose ends in a bucket With a shoestring budget Every man’s got a field to plow I know this now But, man I really can't afford the oxen, feed, field excetera I smell the warm blood of the bill collector knocking I keep dry with these stilts supporting my sturdy liquid backbone To stop getting swept in the pressure cooker trying to paddle back home Now I'll attend the wedding of the open sore while festering And when the groom presents the ring The bride commence to blistering This spiritual textbook magnificently prude Prototype of perfect king berserk moderator Serves the vertical thirst up to heaven I burst horizontal Red and yellow, brown and white We are treasures? Loose cannons span the stars and we are oblivious Just as eve’s fruit dipped in truth famine pressure Cabin fever meter needle tipping ludicrous While beautiful cartoon people swallow Buddha futility with a teaspoon full of sugar I rock ready aim fire, while you rock ready fire aim Then blame the weapon missing target when the prey escapes the brain Merit badge marksman, a poacher, it's all the same So I lay across the world perpendicular to the grain Like the gun, like the world, it’s from a big bang I'm just a survivor of the whooly mammoth population Bottle neck effect, sort of a born death Number in hand waiting in line for extinction I am floating this homing pigeon out hells kitchen window Left an SOS infested bottle nested in his crib so When my spirit leaves, a prayer circle release party will play a tainted cello Fertile holy circle now curdle crescent via bad investment Despised every second, but I guess I learned my lesson Fool me once but never twice, fool me young with fake advice Oh if I made an angel in the snow for every rotted victim There'd be wings to float this mothership up out of the goblin system Creed contaminating panoramic planet In conjunction with phantom assumption Shrouded by a fog of needing to feel significant Can’t find the path of righteousness Well, I promise you I will man the lighthouse Just to help guide in your ship If you promise to help pull this hook out of my lip It’s only fair since you ensnared me you should set me free Ok, I'm here to rock the tugboat and bid the followers farewell I shook the buddy system wisdom of how these men of cloth dwell I’ll sell a barrel of spirit to phony dimwit syndicate jackals From the mouth they begin to foam I'm a broken arrow to the very bone, through broken poem I don't really believe in God But God, I'm scared to death of God! I swear to God, I never meant to spill the beans Nor tear the Bible, but I hike a lifetime unimpressed And slept on the saber’s edge Enough times to splice anti-Christ's favorite pledge I want to know myself Standing alone I felt a solo sheep amidst the wolves And still my shepherd can't administer the proper push and pulls I pushed my soul to man overboard Pull the bulls onto my sword And cast my logic onto those willing to eye behind the door I have an angel on my left shoulder, A devil on the polar I have a mind frigid, a mind solar, slide over Religions design to unplug the appetite for mortality By stitching togetherness schemes beautifully I peel back hearts and lodge Greek physics in the chambers cauterize the veins of myth and transplant with apt reason I Sympathize with blissful minds that never stopped to ponder This present life is final, there is no place that’s fonder So make your time worth while and have no fear of fable hell For religion is a mental virus, blistering in earth’s wishing well Big bang! I am an atheist...not that I believe in the big bang but I follow my head. I think it was very true and honest of you to post this and I also think that it is beautiful. And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!" |
