As I lay my head down to rest my thoughts wander and I wonder if i am doing my best to live the way I should. Is there anything I could do better or worse to make the pain subside? Will you answer my call and tell me it'll be alright (yeah) hold me close in the middle of the night dry my tears away help me to forget yesterday She runs away from home with heavy sobs and teary eyes wishing today had never come pleading with God to hear her cries Is there anything she could do better or worse to make the pain subside? Oh girl, dontcha know? you deserve to feel this way about it just let it go it's not your fault, your okay the pain will subside just give it time you did better than anyone else could have done just relax, your okay we're okay don't worry on yesterday. Love hurts as bad as it feels good. |
