One sultry afternoon in the wild, a lioness rests, eyes peacefully closed - fearless. Never vulnerable, always confident At ease in the face of anticipated threat. She awakes - almond eyes slit Sun gleams brightly on her poised appearance, standing firm on the grassy plain, tranquil and strong, she emulates power. One bitter night in my institution, My body sits still, eyes nakedly exposed - gutless. Always defenseless, never certain Troubled by life and the opportunities I destroy. I frantically pace - insides twirling, The darkness engulfs my being and soul, I am alone in my existence, nobody's concern detached from composure, I am powerless. |

Thank you for reading it and for your kind words...it is sad and I write about my true feelings here - before and after my sister passed away. Thanks again, P |

again, i love it when people write about themselves and the trueness of what someone is going through...you have this down really well and i love the flow of your work and the style...everything i write is written about me and its all honest... |
