What distance have I travelled?
Where will it end?
Confused by my sorrows
My sanity drowned in tears
I can't seem to remember
Who should I be?
I am incomplete
You made me whole
Can I be alive?
How can I?
Since you embraced the angels
I feel alone
My soul was then torn away
My only comfort is
That you now may rest
No more suffering
No more pain
In the end I will find
Bliss in your remembrance
Eventhough I am wrought
with sadness
I will show my true spirit
And always keep you
In my heart

a wonderful tribute to indeed a sad loss...I've felt the same way so many times in my life. You've emotion is dripping off the page. I try to think of my lost ones more like a graduation for them; and I try to remember to celebrate the life god has given me.
