i searched for you for so long
but your eyes were blind
you left me
staring into a broken mirror
looking inside of myself
like you
time seems to have passed me too quickly
the heart that beats within my chest
wants so much to let you in
the scars of today
burning so brightly
its hard tell were one wound starts and one begins
i can only hope to channge the way i see them
when you look at me i feel like i should say i'm sorry
