Wildfire The leafy hues have burned away. Only ashes remain. The hateful flames, conceived by greed have consumed the proud giants. The elder wood, twisted with age, are gone; Their wisdom in flames. Even the common folk have vanished. Elm, Oak, Pine, Spruce... Uprooted and burnt. Neither sapling nor fruit-bearer is spared. Never to be nurtured. Never to bear. Fire consumes all; And leaves only hate. 7/11/08 |

Well written.... but I want more! I feel that this could be expanded upon.... More description.... with the same intensity. Perhaps I'm just greedy hehheeh Our scars are the foundation for what we have become |
