i said im never gonna hurt you,im never gonna make you cry...

but i had a dream and killed you, tasted your blood.
it felt good, the sense of your life pulsing away,
and you, screaming my name. finally i proved,
that i can make you hurt, i can break your heart
i can make you bleed and plead and cause you pain.
i kissed your lips, and the thought of you
in agony sent pure sensations in my skin.
i want more. im filled with pleasure thru your pain

i woke up in the morning inside your arms,with tears i said;
i said im never gonna hurt you,im never gonna make you cry...

I enjoyed this poem, especially since I used to like reading about dream analysis. I wonder, does the speaker's shadow need a bit of exploration
