Funny, this one makes me sad and I don't know why... because I have not loved/hated that much? It did make me think though. You have a way of doing that... and btw, you often belittle the magic of your work - which I call humility and find endearing and hope you keep - but, I always want you to know, that we all know your work is beyond wonderful.

Oh but you are a wonderful writter Garapan. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I loved this. Short, but sweet.

Robert C. Solomon compares hatred and love in his book "The Passions." That was a neat book. Anyway, this was a short and sweet poem. What exactly you mean by hating with all your love could be fleshed out -- poetically of course.

True, it can be fleshed out. But there are enough of those poems. I just wanted to get right to the stab in the heart and leave this as an "Everyman Poem... please fill in the blanks". Thanks for reading.
