see the flash of a blade
fell the blood run
you did it
you hurt me
thinking I was him

I never did anything
I only tried to help
but I was the one you turn on
I bore the blunt of your hate

and yet somehow it must be my fault
I'm the one they blame
the typical kiwi bloke resides in his fate

I never hurt you
I never yelled
never kicked or punched
or lashed out in rage

but you still looked at me though your eyes of hate
I only tried to help
was there for you all the way
but feelings over came you
that you couldn't push away
but hunny although we live in this world of sin
please try and remember

nice write, what I got out of it was that an ex treated him like her ex but I might be wrong but that's what I got out of it.really enjoyed it
