At the Crossroads of Infinity

I'm not the first to get it wrong
And I won't be the last
So do not judge me harshly
When you hear tales from my past

There are bound to be those who say
" I told him it would end this way "
As they gleefully relate
My occasional mistakes

So if I should have but one regret
Then it would have to be
That they are not lying here
Looking up at me ......

Looking up at you as a beautiful Poet.
Mistakes? Who says we make mistakes?
We have experiences.
It's all part of the process called life.
Everything we do and think makes what we are,
in our unique way. Dark and light go hand in hand and none of us can be like a permanent sunshine.
But I know that you know that.
