It's cold out tonight, snow falling thickly filling tracks and troughs through the icy crust. It's late, but so much to do; I've barely covered this block. So many snowmen to make. So many, but the snow falls thick, muffling my work like gauze. So many houses left. And pets. Can't forget the pets, forever by their masters' side. Even the fishtanks. Denny's is calling me and my belly listens, but so much still to do. Every detail must be correct, even down to the glasses and the errant snifter of brandy. The dawn will show my mischief: suburbanites en masse standing guard over cloistered homes, huddled against the cold. All of pristine snow. Well, mostly. Alicat |

Thanks guys. While writing this one, the image of a Charles Addams cartoon crept into mind of a man walking home seeing a melting snowman, and a revealed man's suited arm. |

You know since you said what your vision was, it truly made a lot of sense to me, but brother you would really laugh at what I got out of it before you told me your thoughts. Don't you just love that poetry does that? |
