Not a great one but i thought I would throw it out.

DISLIKE

.
So many things we come to dislike

So many people

As we stare at our reflection

As we look upon the olden day image

We never thought we would live to see

So reckless in youth

We so believed we would die young

One day

In some unknown street

As the sun shines brightly

We stare at our reflection

Disliking what we see

Wondering why our bodies

Always going forward

Forgot to die with us

What could be lonlier than an ignored poem, like a child's first day at school..torn from the safety of its home. It breaks my heart to see a poem dismissed by being ignored...I love your work Seeker.

Why thank you sire.

It wouldn't be the first poem I've posted that was ignored.

I never take it to heart.

Hey doll.... love the last few lines:

Wondering why our bodies

Always going forward

Forgot to die with us

I always love your work doll!

Our scars are the foundation for what we have become
