This poem is based on real events:

Today wasn't the best day for me,

I'm about to tell you something you won't believe

today I got in a car crash

and right before my eyes, a light flashed

the moment went so fast and quick

it took me a while to really know this

I got in a car carsh today

and it made me realize theres things I have to say

I don't want to leave, I'm not ready to go

theres still things everyone should know,

I love music, I love to sing,

there worth more to me than a diamond ring

I love my friends, wouldn't be here without them,

my family also, wish I realized it back then

to the boy I've known for so many years,

last night for you I creid so many tears,

when I should look in your eyes

and say that I love you

because I've known for so long that it really is true

so don't go on throwing your life away

because little did you know, there was something to say,

live for right now and not the past

because for all you know, today could be your last
