Lonliness shatters my heart from the inside
a caged mind cries out with agony
I squeeze my eyes shut and hold on
for just one day, just one more day.
Welcome to the hell I call my life
where no one cares about anyone
all they care about is their problems
never giving a damn about mine.
Pictures of the old days come to view
of me, of you, of all of us
sitting together and laughing
doing the things that friends do.
I don't have a single friend now
tell me, why have you all left me?
Are your boyfriends more important
than knowing how I have been?
Maybe I expect too much from people
but I never expected to be so alone
everyday it's like a constant struggle
fighting to stay sane in this fragile mind.
There are some moments I really miss you
you're not the same person you used to be
have you forgotten about our memories?
about the person who was always there?
Still I am cast aside to the shadows
a dark cloud hanging above my head
watching as you all go on living
wishing deseperately
that you'd ask me to join you.
