Seeking peace within my soul History has paid its toll. No longer lingers at the gate With open arms, accept its fate. Making peace with what’s been dealt Icy hearts begin to melt. Stand alone, but still stand strong Eternity seems not so long. Finding peace within our hearts Look ahead to hopeful starts. Although the past is filled with gray Learn to live within today. No regrets, for strength is gained Enlightenment has been attained. Selfish moments built a wall Selfless acts shall make it fall. Hold on to those you’ve pushed away Cling to them when they can’t stay. The End has passed, a beginning is near I search my heart… I find you there. |

Nice. A good flow through to the second scene. Loved it. |
