Lost in pain

I once was a lost little girl,
until i found pain.

It was and is a resting place,
a shelter from being hurt even worse,
a warm blanket made of thorns.

It hurts yet its is comforting and warm.

It is the only thing that lets us live in piece.

Pain is my fortress,
from being hurt by you.
