(FEEL FREE TO SKIP)I've always had.....a dual persona....that's a good word for it. Not excatly a split personality, but more than one behavorial pattern. Different personalities that are still comprised of my main personality. That is what this poem is about. The becoming of one of my personas and the fading of another. Birth by sleep. "One last drink and the bottle breaks, returning us to the dust from whence we came" |

5...4...3...2...1 This is my last day under the sun I've enjoyed the days I was free to live Now he's come to take what's his And though i'm only part of a whole I regret when he comes to take control The life I lose is the one he gains And i'll never see the sun again Split in two by unknown curses I pour my soul in these few verses So that in these words i'll be remembered From spring's birth till the death of winter Trying to fight back the urge to cry As the life within me slowly dies Swept back to the nameless seas Until his death gives birth me This life was never mine's to keep And as he awakens...I fall asleep.... Woooow!! that was quite amazing. For some reason tears rolled dowm while I was reading this poem. It is touchy in its own way, or maybe I am a little over-reacting and sensitive to stuff that take lives away or give them  Over all, I wanted to say that is a wonderful poem, and I like it. You have done well describing it that way you see Tears of Sanity~ |
