I wish I knew the words to say to give you heart again, to take away the sorrow of your island journey. If I could be the wind I'd wrap you in my tenderness, enfold you in the warmth and sweetness of surrender. Could I be the constant sea I'd measure every wave to crest upon your shore and wash away the distance between your secret wishes and the stars. If I were the moon that sees your dreams in darkness as I do, I’d willingly surrender heaven if I could be the wind. |
