Drunken demons Steal midnight souls Under cover of dark Possession of wayward fools Feed the fires of greed Under shroud of this evil night Shadows in the corners The chill on the neck The touch on the chest Fills the room with The bitter taste of fear On this night Earth is but playground Of the damned If only dawn would come Bringing Jesus or even Santa Claus Then it would be all right But soon realize That evil and demons Exists in hearts And behind eyes Not the scapegoat of night Which we blame our darkest sins.
