The Rain Living in the shadow of love, I realize that one day I'll see the sunlight for the last time, The shadow will fade away. The rain is washing all my pain away And flooding all the mourning of parting. Each drop is a tear about you, And I let the sky cry for me For I have cried all my tears. The mist has covered my way, And the wind is leading me where I'll see the dawn And love again. The rain, telling the story of us, Is erasing the word "love" on the asphalt As our love has been erased. The rain has extinguished the flame. We'll never kindle this flame again, We have different ways, We're parting. Our ways have just crossed, But haven't become the one way, The rain has erased everything we had. I have nothing else to say. Listen to the rain, It's better than any words. This downpour is the scream of my soul. Our love has ended to bear two ones. Forgive me... My heart is not ready to part, too... |

I could relate to this poem alot. This was how I felt(and still feel) when my girlfriend left me. Thanks for sharing "One last drink and the bottle breaks, returning us to the dust from whence we came" |
