Torn away pieces, hot, sticky, agonizing, nothing to stop the burning of my flesh. Scars left behind, rough, showing fathomless damage, yet I move on slowly and steadily, crawling. A nightmare for each wound would fill eternity, screams would go on forever. Light seems to drive me, the slightest possibility of hope lingers. Through the screams I hear a sound, a beautiful soft melody, where is it? It's just past the strips of flesh, and the edge of my stretched out fingers. |

no night stays black forever, nor does any storm constantly pour. this hits me right in the gut, lisa. don't lose hope; keep the faith in yourself. cause when it gets down to the worst of it, that can be all you've got. my heart and thoughts are with you. The soul is oftentimes a battlefield where reason and judgement wage war on passion and appetite. |

Thank you for your comment. The light is what keeps me going. It has always kept me going. lisa |
