By My Side

as i sit beneth the stars you ask me
whats wrong and as i deny you can see
through my smile you see past my clear
eyes and see the sadness you see the
tears that flood from my eyes.
as i sit here denying my own
sadness you stand by my side
knowing my sadness in your own way
you let me know its ok to cry
you make me laugh and forget my sorrow
and by my side i'll hope you stay
and forget our sorrows together.

Good feeling, but your organisation leaves much to be desired. Some of your lines rhyme, but then abruptly the don't....

"Our Father who art in Heaven... Hallowed be thy name..."
