NOCTURNAL isolated/it's complicated hard to explain the moonlight's dares another night's ghost/two hours sleep at most i can't explain my midnight prayers i can't deny that i stay up all night asking if i could fly would i fly away it's hard to say that i'm all right i'm far from fine no sleep at night wondering i played it wrong i live my life before the dawn the clock in rewind/gone a bit blind don't take away the last life living my step is heavy/feet unsteady don't get the way i can't stop giving (my soul) i can't deny that i say up all night asking if i could fly would i fly away it's hard to stay that i'm all right i'm far from fine no sleep at night wondering what's real is gone living my life before the dawn i must stay strong now won't be long now this is my vow make it through tomorrow (Note: This was created with the intent to become lyrics to a song. As no melody was ever created, I left it as poetry) |
