A gift... Perhaps I'd be more thankful Worries and selfish pride Anger and a fistful of Violence Music and tough strings Tearing through Heaven Turn and run at the drop of... Listening to spirits whisper "Go home" Pride like a rock inside Turns me inside out And I puke to remove this stone But the stone is on the outside While I scream and hemorage from its weight He offers up in prayer Blindly by accusation Fear that speaks so softly and Loudly splits hope from love Hopeless in my love Loveless of my hope The clock tells me my time is long My breath slows and consciousness has gone... Walking across space and time With my load as the bridge Bells ring and the man of 332 years prior Seems right in sight Paradise must be chased just to be happy... |
