Red palates chased angels through cemeteries, As sandy roads buried their eyes, To pebbles soothing the rich grounds. Therein lay two youths, Waltzing through the lively streets, Chasing streets names with their feet tied side by side. The smile of July, Where whispers of the rivers stream Lay its hands to greet. These summer days, Kites fly high, To the wide eyes of children Laughing at the obscure cloud shaped sky. For those who wonder about the what if, These kids believe in the dream, The fight for love, With their eyes pinned back, They step forward without hesitation. |
