You have no power over me, You cannot force me to your will, You have no power over me, I shall stand. You pressure, First this Then that, Decieving me with all your lies Leaving me stranded within an open sea. You cannot control me, I will not let you, You will not direct me, You shall not have the chance to speak. Your directions are ignored, Your pleas fall on my deaf ears And echo through my skull. You scream, pulling me, First right Then Left. You have no power over me, My will is my own, You have no power over me, Alone are my thoughts. Yet, as I ponder on these things, I realise: You do. "Our Father who art in Heaven... Hallowed be thy name..." |
