Wot RU Sayin Mate
Is Life a pain in the Harris

Today the sun came out
Not that it came to stay
But like her smile
Just for a while
It brightened up my day
Not that I mind the rain
Except when it won’t stop
Then like her frown
It drags me down
Or am I just a clot?

Man should stand-alone?
Sure that’s a simple plan
No charge No cost
Nought to be lost
Then try it if you can
Just like left from right
No need to make a fuss
But I still need the wife
Fact is she’s half my life
More often she’s a Plus

Pain never hurt me bad
Without it there’s no gain
But up your bum
Would be no fun
I'd rather sun and rain
Life even when it's tricky
Still shared with the wife
So in Cockney Rhyme
I’m ending this Line
Praise be to me Struggle and Strife

Eric Davies
