Trials They strech out before me like a pit another hurdle before which I sit The sun looks down and mocks my state Watch the loser whose life is fate Every step is a race toward an end An unfortunate outcome I don't wish to attend Getting through is pain Reaching out my back strains Everyday a new trial I see Another unscable wall rises before me Trials Trials Are they just an end in themselves Or a step in the road till i'm put on the shelf Trials Trials They lie still before me Will I ever, O will I ever be free To take a lot of pain, |

Good poem, I think trials are a part of every man's life. Don't sit there too long. "One last drink and the bottle breaks, returning us to the dust from whence we came" |
