Afraid of the future afraid of all who look at me minds weighed down by the past, demons tardising around inside my head give me a crick in the neck forever looking at the floor. Alone at the lake at night see winters cold with every breath casting away my demons moon twinkles bright on the slow ripples of my swim mesmerizing, kinda relaxing I think now clouds cover can't see a thing suddenly feel wrecked tired and heavy put my rod to the side of me fumble for my hip flask drink the last drop of whisky empty; scared and distraught wipe a tear from my cheek start walking into the darkness of the lake slow and steady then faster casting away my demons. 16/10/2004 |

Good write. Rugged and Elegant. "One last drink and the bottle breaks, returning us to the dust from whence we came" |
