My Dark Embrace

Walking
Running
From the things I’ve become

Praying
Hoping
For something to come alive

I just can’t be the way I was
This thing I become
Call to me from the inside
Why can’t you see
That this world was meant to be ours

I can’t forget
Who I am
No longer hiding
Forever dying
From this hunger inside of me
That makes me what I am
These lips
My mouth
Is a forbidden fountain of youth
Your blood that runs down my lips
Is like a raging drug rushing through my veins
I’m addicted to your blood
It makes me trapped in your sweet embrace
Like a tiny butterfly in your arms
I am
Tempted by your touch
I die inside your arms

Each bite I take
Every drop of your blood
Makes me blind

I feel like I was reborn
So free from the emptiness
So free from myself
Its reminds me how I use to feel
Like a dark embrace
Coming together
I could be me
Not the person everyone wanted me to be
With you
We could walk on this earth
Together
For all of eternity
