From a distance I stare at you Shaped as a soaring medal statue As though I can see through you I judge you I make my dicision of keeping my distance The curiosity of my brain is soaking My heart is pounding wanting more then I choose to give You come into my life and I can't resist Breaking down my door and taking over We come face to face You tell me your wants and needs I tell you of my heart breaks and past What braught me to your attention I don't know But my fear will never let me rest I cannot let you go nor have you left I lay down beside you in awe Knowing the time will come when you will flee But for now I remain brave and let that day come I don't mind waiting Just hate that tomrrow my soul will be shaken When my mind will no longer rest In question of where you went And to whom will steal your heart after me It pains me now even through the good times That love walks away when you need it the most I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health |
