We decided not to go there today We’re going to stop being each other for a while This is maybe the first time I saw mascara run I always knew I’d miss her From the first time I never got to kiss her Listen closely to me I’m whispering through smoke Just so I can reach you I never meant for the pavement to crack I never meant for the windshield to break I never meant to never say goodbye Piano keys And memories Piano keys And hurting me Piano keys And letting go Piano keys And knowing why They put you in a line on the ground But they can’t ever take you Maggots will decompose and break you But they can’t ever take you And I’ll walk to the bench Where burdens broke And I’ll remember The last time we ever spoke I’ll always feel responsible And I’ll never forget I’ll always feel accountable But I’ll never forget Metal and harness Couldn’t keep you alive Oh what a day, to forget goodbye The story goes: I never tried… |

wow lots of pain...it really makes you think "what if" once again great song-likeness There is no peace among the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter and the laughter of thirsting gods |
