Just when I thought I was finally alright And I knew that it was I in control of me; You had to come into my little world, and Suddenly, all I worked to build just washed away. Only you could monkey wrench my perfect day. Now I'm so confused that words cannot convey. Please don't misconstrue the very heart of me. Heaven shuts its eyes, afraid to see what's next; I know how they do feel awaiting your response. Let's face it, I've been dealt this hand before, Believing in someone who inevitably shuts the door, Envying the very thought of others you adore, Choking on myself for thinking there could be much more, Knowing not what love could ever possibly have in store... ------------------- For me. Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |
