In the garden of yesterday light is as fragile as a dream, dawn the far distance of stars and night plays softly on cello strings. There flowers are made of fragments stained glass in violet light grass remembers green as the dust of autumn wheat. Hear the sad song of poppies soothing sorrows on the wind shadows that wander as haunted shapes drawn by invisible hands. Stars are eyes of the abandoned hiding in the blindness of night awaiting in their final hour the still moment of consolation. Rain is the rhyme of my yesterdays written on pages of sand that flows as a river journeys into the mysteries of the sea. This is my world, my garden, where I touch cold stones and I climb through silk threads creating the illusion I'm still a part of your world. Rain is the rhyme of yesterdays written on pages of sand that flows as a river journeys into the lost mystery of the sea. It is so lovely, I wish I could write like this. |

HiJennifer~ I enjoyed the soft imagery of this piece ...~ Only one teensy-weensy little thing (because you seek)- 'Hear the sad song of poppies soothing sorrows on the wind shadows that wonder as haunted shapes drawn by invisible hands.' Wondering if you intended wander ? *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Yep, I did. Thanks so much, Marge, I'll go back and correct that. Got any new forms for us to take a shot at? Trying the rictameter was a lot of fun. |
