Ebon
~*Marge Tindal*~

~ebon
shadows-in-slide
slither 'cross the hillside
etch deeply into the landscape
seeking escape as twilight escalates
cloaks this day in serenity
hidden so, just beyond
peek-a-boo moon
ebon~

Marge,
This is wonderful! My daughter was reading over my shoulder, and she loved it too. It says a great deal when you impress an 11 year old!

Marge, this is lovely, a perfect description of twilght, my second favorite part of the day.

I'm going to try one of these. There's almost a haiku to feel to them and I love good haiku.

This is wonderful, Marge! I've never written a rictameter before, but I'd love to try it.

Alexandra~
Thank you so much for digging for this one~

I greatly enjoyed being your 'first' reviewer~
With the busy Christmas shopping time, the forums may be a little slow in keeping up .. but the poets here will get a good opportunity to read and get to know you~

Thank you for posting this! Never before have I encountered this form of poetry and it really piqued my interest! I love finding new ways of doing things, so I may give the rictameter format a try.
I enjoyed your word choices tremendously especially the word ebon. You created such a vivid image through this poem. It was amazing!
Thank you again for introducing me to something new.
