~questioned
the shadows fall
consuming the soul so lost
beyond all thought of mending wounds
undeniably undeniable
words fall, ink-stained hands denying
the existence of guilt
hell-bent intent
questioned~

Morning Marge..
Thought I saw your name here in the dark.
Sometimes we never receive an answer to the question,
and it allows us become bitter.
May your questions always be answered..
and your smile always sunny.
A most excellent write.
Good to read you again.
Heart hugs, Nancy

Sounds like a misunderstanding gone terribly wrong causing a lot of hurt and pain.

If you have a chance, could you tell me what the form is, just starting to explore and try a few forms.  Thanks so much!

Thanks dear MartieSis and Enchantress~
You gals know this heart so well~
Always there for a friend~

Jennifer~

Nice that you would notice that there actually is a 'form' to this one~

It is in the Rictameter format -
(usually) if done so-so takes on the shape of a diamond ... however, I intentionally first-drafted this one with ink from the heart ... it is effective for me~

Rictameter -
9 lines of poetry

Begins with 2 syllables
then 4 syllables
then 6 syllables
then 8 syllables
then 10 syllables
then 8
6
4
2 (working the thoughts back down to the same two syllable word you began with~

Thank you for asking ... email me anytime you would like to know anymore about this format~

Marge

Very interesting.  I'd never come across that form before though I seem to recall Dylan Thomas experimented with all sorts of shapes in poetry, including diamonds.  So maybe I saw it without realising it.

Thank you.
