Anger Unknown I find it so odd How I have yet to reach anger I am quite familiar with annoyance The prologue to the tale But the story itself I have yet to touch My limits get pushed everyday And amazingly they snap back into place Though I’d like to see what happens If they don’t It would be…most interesting Simply a curiosity of mine The limits of my power For even I have yet to see them Though I suppose it is quite potent I’d love to see how I am When I get serious It would be…most fascinating How does it happen, I wonder Is it self-control? Restraint? An unconscious weighing of possibilities? Good versus bad Right versus wrong What feels good versus what is good But who decides what is good? What is right? We all have a different perspective of justice Some more physical than others I wonder what my standpoint is To find out would be… Most alluring ~~Poetry is written emotion~~ |

Hi greysolace, Wow... This poem knocks you off your feet! I loved it; in some ways it's almost comical, no offence if that isn't how you want it to be read. To me there is an underlying of sadness and comical curiosity about the poem. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one and I hope that the more I read in pip the more poems like this one I see. Thanks for sharing! "I pray thee, O God, that I |

It is your conscience. At least, I would like to think it is. I often have similar thoughts... but I've never been able to put them to word such as this. A good read, Poet. Thank you! |

The "most interesting" lines are a litle cliche. Maybe you are experiencing anger but just according to your own perspective. It's cool that you examin your emotions and stuff and try to find limits. The thing about not knowing your limitations is kinda cool. |
