Do I dare defy what is my destiny? Do I dare end my life that was ordained by the Gods? I will bow to no one, make sure you hear me Will people look on me differently if I died? I a Tolemy, queen of Egypt, this I was destined to be Now I am locked away and there is no way to flee I will make sure my name is known forever, see I am supposed to rule, I am supposed to be free. I, Cleopatra, a prisoner within my own domain I will ensure my name will live in infamy My handmaidens and I within this prison must remain But I think I have devised a way out of this, see. Isis, my mother, my goddess, please forgive me for what I am about to do I will not be imprisoned within my own land My choices here are so very few I asked for a basket of figs, this way I can implement my plan. The Egyptian cobra within the basket is hidden His bite can only bring the freedom of death My handmaidens will follow me, as I hope I am not committing a sin Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, now I take my last breath. |

Locked away eternally indeed. Actually its extremely easy to be locked away and never return, and actually its extremely easy to never be locked away. The choice of denial or acceptance of Christ. Nice poem. God bless, -GIS Satan decelveth and cause women to watch Operah... |
